Service Pack 1 for HiCAD 2022 is now available. One focus of the further development was the modernisation and standardisation of dialogues as well as the increased feature suitability of functions. One example is the new function for dividing surfaces.
Development also focused on further enhancement of the 3-D view functions. Here, among other things, the functions for defining standard and list views have been combined into one new function with extended setting options. The Draw functions for 3-D sketches have also been further extended. Here it is now possible to set that selected points outside the current drawing plane are projected onto this plane and thus can be drawn conveniently in one plane.
The industry functions have also been expanded. For example, numerous enhancements are available on the Post - Sub-structure tab of the Railing Configurator, such as filleted base plates, round plates or base plates rotated by 90°. Also new are handrails with wall mounting. In the Sheet Metal module, the attaching of flanges to a surface has been completely revised. The new dialogue allows the specification of individual parameters for each attachment and a convenient modification of the flanges via the feature log in one step. Further innovations are the output of PROFLEX-BOMs, the new variants for installing ALUCOBOND® panels on polygonal installation surfaces, and the expansion of the new part insertion function in Plant Engineering.
